ColorLab Pro — hair color formula software for professional colorists
ColorLab Pro is a mobile and web application for licensed hair colorists and salons. It stores the formula, developer volume, mixing ratio, processing time and result for every client service, so a repeat visit is a lookup instead of a re-guess. It is built and operated by ColorLabPro, Inc., a Delaware C corporation.
What the product does
- Client color records — every formula, photo and service tied to the client, searchable in seconds.
- Smart Scan — reads level, undertone, porosity and condition from a photograph of the hair. The reading is an estimate to support the colorist's judgment, not a replacement for a strand test.
- Formula Builder and Smart Mix — developer volume, lift, gray coverage and toning worked out from a rules-based color-science engine.
- Shade library and cross-brand translation — manufacturer shades with closest-match equivalents between brands.
- Reference guides — porosity, toning, correction, pre-pigmentation, lightener and level/tone references.
Availability and pricing
ColorLab Pro is live on the Apple App Store and a Google Play release is in progress. Accounts are free to start. Paid plans are Premium at $9.99 per month or $99.99 per year, and Master at $15.99 per month or $159.99 per year. Cosmetology students can get expanded access on a capped free plan.
